Born in 1975, Nika Oblak studied painting and graduated in 2002 from the Academy of Fine Arts, Ljubljana, Slovenia. In the academic year (2000-2001), she was a guest student in the class of Prof. K. Sieverding at the Hochschule der Kuenste in Berlin. In 2005, she received her MFA in video from the Academy of Fine Arts, Ljubljana. Since 2002, she collaboratively works in artist with Primoz Novak.
